NUDES – Solo Art Exhibition by Fine Artist Andrew Petterson
Join fine artist Andrew Petterson on Saturday, October 10, from 6–9 p.m. in Costa Mesa for NUDES, a one-night-only exhibition exploring the vulnerability, beauty and timelessness of the human form.
The exhibition brings together a collection of figure drawings and paintings created from Southern California to Rome, Italy, offering an intimate look at the relationship between artist and muse and the many ways the human form has been interpreted throughout art history. Guests will have the opportunity to view and purchase original works throughout the evening, with Andrew on-site to share the stories behind each piece, his perspective on figure-based art and the history that inspired the collection.
Admission is free and open to the public. For those looking to bring a piece home, optional Green and Gold Tickets offer access to specially priced unframed original artwork in the exhibition’s back-room gallery. Green Tickets are $100 for artwork valued up to $200, while Gold Tickets are $200 for artwork valued between $200 and $400. Artwork is available on a first-come, first-choice basis and can be taken home that evening. Front gallery purchases also include a Gold Ticket and Andrew’s signature Red Dot Ceremony.
Wine, beer and other refreshments will be available throughout the evening, and guests are encouraged to arrive early to view the collection before pieces begin to sell.
