Dancer Karen Patricia Stevens Reep Dies at 88

Karen Patricia Stevens Reep was born November 26, 1923, in Alameda, California. She died in Bakersfield last week.

According to her daughter, dance was her favorite pastime, and when World War II broke out she attended all the USO dances until the fateful day when she cut-in on Eddie Reep and met the love of her life.

Her daughter wrote: "Mom had had a wisdom tooth extracted that day and her cheek was swollen, purple, black After the war, Mom and Dad settled in Studio City, California, where Dad pursued a career as an artist and Mom worked as a beautician; but mostly, Mom worked at being as perfect a mother and wife as one could want. That's not hyperbole."
