Abby Mueller is more than an amazing actress who commands the stage in every scene. She metamorphasizes into Carole King from head to toe. Her stunning vocal and acting artistry will move you to tears as you experience such a powerhouse performer in all her glory.

Abby is the sister of Jessie Mueller, who won the Best Actress in a Musical Tony Award in 2014, for her portrayal of King in the show’s Broadway production.

With a book by Tony® and Academy® Award-nominee Douglas McGrath, direction by Marc Bruni, and choreography by Josh Prince, BEAUTIFUL, The Carole King Musical, is pure perfection.

Joining Mueller in the cast are Liam Tobin as Gerry Goffin; Becky Gulsvig as Cynthia Weil; Ben Fankhauser as Barry Mann; and Curt Bouril as Don Kirshner, terrific talents at the top of their game.

You will be dancin’ and singin’, movin’ and groovin’ in your seats to amazing all time favorites, written by Gerry Goffin/Carole King and Barry Mann/Cynthia Weil. These two talented teams not only had offices side by side in the infamous Brill Building, but they were best friends as well, through thick and thin.

Much more than just an anthology of songs, BEAUTIFUL, the Carole King Musical, is about the intimacy and passion of songwriting, how it comes from deep within the heart and soul. It’s an inspiring motivational message for those who yearn to express their love creatively. It’s a story of friendship and bonding on the most significant level.

BEAUTIFUL, The Carole King Musical, opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on January 12, 2014, where it continues its record-breaking run. The production won two 2014 Tony Awards® as well as the 2014 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Theater Album.

A London production opened February 25, 2015 at London’s Aldwych Theater, where it continues its run, and has won two Olivier Awards. The North American Tour premiered at the Providence Performing Arts Center on September, 15, 2015.

BEAUTIFUL, The Carole King Musical, is recommended for ages 11 and up. Children under 5 will not be admitted to the theatre. All patrons must have a ticket, regardless of age. Running time is 2 hours and 20 minutes with one intermission.

Performances are Tuesday through Friday at 8pm; Saturday at 2pm and 8pm; Sunday at 1pm and 6:30pm. There are added matinees on Thursday, June 23rd and Thursday, July 14th at 2pm. There is no evening performance on Sunday, July 17th.
