Don't Get Caught in These 101 Freeway Closures!
Caltrans is warning drivers to avoid nighttime lane closures on the Ventura (101) Freeway this week.

Los Angeles, CA - Nightly lane closures on the Ventura (101) Freeway through the San Fernando Valley were expected to cause traffic delays this week, Caltrans announced today.
Lanes will be reduced and on-ramps closed on the northbound side of the freeway to allow crews to install pre-cast concrete slabs, repave lanes and install new guard rails through Saturday, according to Patrick Chandler of Caltrans.
Up to three lanes will be closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the northbound Ventura Freeway between Sepulveda Boulevard and Tampa Avenue, Chandler said.
