Emily Morse, sex expert and host of the #1 downloaded sex and relationship advice podcast Sex with Emily, is serving as SHE’s official spokesperson. Emily is currently a weekly co-host on the nationally syndicated radio show “Loveline” with Dr. Drew Pinsky.
Morse also has appeared as an expert on television shows, including the “Today Show” and “Dr. Drew HLN,” as well as publications such as The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Huffington Post.
Emily earned her doctorate in Human Sexuality from the Institute for Advancement of Human Sexuality and her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
Emily reveals why she first became interested in the field. “I’ve always been fascinated and curious about what constitutes great sex. I was one of those women who didn’t have an outlet to learn about sex and found myself having a series of mediocre sexual encounters. People were constantly saying they had ‘the best sex of their lives’ and I was determined to find out what exactly that meant.”
Morse was inspired by Esther Perel’s work with sex and desire in long-term relationships; Dr. Helen Fisher, a groundbreaking biological anthropologist who focuses on the evolution of love, sex, marriage and the science of attraction; and Dr. Carol Queen, a pioneer who is dedicated to empowering and educating people in living their sexual truths.
Emily is grateful and honored to be the spokesperson and founder of SHE. “I’ve particularly enjoyed watching it grow in popularity over the last year and seeing how it’s transformed many people’s lives.”
When asked why she started the expo, Morse replied, “I was motivated by the fact that there really isn’t any other event where men, women and couples can learn from leading sex educators and intimacy experts in a non-judgmental environment. I saw the need for this through my work and hundreds of emails I receive each day from my listeners who truly don’t have a safe, qualified place to go for the sex and relationship information they crave and desperately require to lead fulfilling lives.”
According to Emily, SHE fills an extremely important gap in the industry. “There’s an overwhelming amount of information and misinformation out there and it can be confusing to know who to trust and what to buy. SHE collaborates with top sex educators and presents the latest and greatest products, providing a place where people can learn from the best sources.”
Attendees to SHE 2016 at the Universal Hilton can look forward to a venue that will be easy to navigate through the offerings of workshops and intimacy products. Morse assures that participants can “count on leaving with new tips and advice about how to have the sex life they desire and deserve.”
Emily is excited to be podcasting live on Sex With Emily during the Expo. She’ll be reporting on the workshops, speakers and products as well as interviewing attendees about their experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to tune in from anywhere and watch (via periscope) or listen live online.
Situated just a block away from the entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood and minutes from Hollywood, the Universal City Hilton Hotel will maintain the welcoming appeal of SHE, strengthening the event’s objective of exploring sex in a fun, friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
The 2-day admission cost of $25.00 grants you access to dozens of workshops, the expansive exhibition area of innovative and best selling products, plus a goodie bag valued at up to $50.
