Raphael in Studio City Travels the Globe for DineLA Restaurant Week

Raphael Restaurant in Studio City will take diners around the world in one day during dineLA Restaurant Week, with a prix-fixe menu sure to keep guests coming back for more.  From January 22 to 27 and January 29 to February 3, hungry and curious Restaurant Week participants will enjoy three small plates from the menu, with a dessert to share at the end of the meal.

Diners can begin lunch or dinner with a first course, choosing confit apple salad made with Maytag blue cheese, endive, watercress and shaved onion; roasted beet salad with coffee roasted beets, Beemster goat “cream cheese,” olive and mandarin; or crispy brassicas with sweet, salty and sour herbs. Or, they can jump right in to the second course, which features pasta choices of macaroni made with three peppers and three cheeses; linguini with smoked salmon, dill, asparagus and egg; Northern Thai street noodles with crispy pork and pickled mustard greens. To further indulge your taste buds, Raphael will offer several other favorite dishes to choose from, including fried chicken with brown butter mashed potatoes, chorizo gravy and charred frisee; loup de mer with watercress, roasted garlic and charred leaks; and pork belly made with a variety of Vietnamese flavors.

To top off the meal, guests will enjoy a shared dessert, choosing from banana bread pudding with peanut nougatine and peanut butter ice cream; Valrhona Caraibe cremeux, passion fruit coulis and peppermint ice cream; or a trio of sorbets.
