There were alternate plans for a rain date, which Kindergarten teacher and organizer Jessica Hoeschen planned for. The games that would normally be outside were moved into the auditorium.
The Silent Auction baskets were moved into the hallway.

Nevertheless, obviously people had fun. The entertainers performed inside, the face painters and artistic bookmark makers were dry inside, and the hotdogs were still being cooked.
It's not the big fundraiser of the year, points out PTA co-president Kelly Cole. That comes in the spring. This is an event that's just for fun—and it was.
