Fire Damages Two-Story Apartment In Studio City

The cause of the Friday morning fire remains under investigation.

STUDIO CITY, CA — A two-story apartment unit caught fire in Studio City Friday morning, but firefighters were able to make quick work of the blaze.

The fire broke out at a building at 10866 Bloomfield St. at about 8:11 a.m., fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said. About 26 firefighters arrived on the scene and put out the fire in about eight minutes, Stewart added.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
