Fire Exposes Possible Grow Operation In Panorama City

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating after firefighters found evidence of a possible grow operation at the house.

PANORAMA CITY, CA — Detectives are investigating a possible grow operation in Panorama City discovered after firefighters doused a blaze at the home.

According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart, the fire was reported at a one-story home i the 12700 block of West Gledhill Street at about 3:15 p.m. Crews were able to put out the blaze in just under an hour, said Stewart.

The fire spread through the home's attic and garage, fully engulfing the garage. However, firefighters prevented the fire from spreading further, Stewart said.

No injures were reported.

The LAFD requested the Los Angeles Police Department conduct an investigation after discovering evidence of a possible grow operation at the house, she added.
