Four Arrested Following Short Pursuit at Lankershim and Cahuenga
Police tried to pull over a man on suspicion of reckless driving, but he allegedly led them on a short chase before fleeing on foot,
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Four people were in custody Tuesday following a short police pursuit that ended near Universal City.
A California Highway Patrol officer tried to stop a white Honda Civic for reckless driving around 11:15 p.m. Monday on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway at Fountain Avenue.
The driver failed to yield and exited the freeway at Lankershim Boulevard, said CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos.

The driver stopped near Lankershim and Cahuenga boulevards where he fled on foot. His three passengers were taken into custody without incident and he was found hiding in a wash a short time later and was taken into custody, Villalobos said.
No one was injured in the pursuit.
