GM of PINZ Bowling Center Selected as East Valley Police Activity League Supporters (PALS) "Member of the Year"
Scott Frager Recently Honored along with Four Other Community Leaders at East Valley PALS Luncheon at Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City

Scott Frager, general manager of PINZ Bowling Center in Studio City, was honored recently as the recipient of the East Valley Police Activity League Supporters (PALS) “Member of the Year Award”. He was one of four community members of the non-profit Board to be so honored at a luncheon held at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City. Others receiving recognition at the event were: Karen Nalbandian, “Volunteer of the Year”; Dr. Jemiss Nazar, “Community Hero”; and, Sheri Herman, “C-Pab Member of the Year”.
In presenting the award to Frager, Jean Sinatra, president of East Valley PALS, noted that this year was Frager’s first on the organization’s Executive Board where he serves as secretary. “Scott has made tremendous, quantifiable contributions to our group through the creation of our first-ever website, and brought tech-savvy knowledge to the business side of operating a 501 (c)(3) non-profit. His incredibly positive can-do attitude and generous heart have been a major plus for the East Valley PALS Board.”
In addition to his primary responsibilities in running the day-today operations of PINZ Bowling Center, Frager is acknowledged as one of bowling’s leading proponents. He is the president and CEO of B2B Media, which publishes International Bowling Industry, recognized as the leading international bowling publication. Frager was also chosen by his peers to become the executive director of Bowling Centers of Southern California, a regional trade association with over 100 members. He is also the founder of Bowling Business Builders International (BBBI), an organization which provides assistance to bowling centers in operating and marketing their facilities. In addition to his pro bono work with East Valley PALS, Frager is vice president of communication of his synagogue, Adat Ari El, and on the Board of the Studio City Business Improvement District. He, his wife Jackie and their three children live in Burbank.

What is East Valley Police Activity League Supporters (PALS)?
East Valley PALS is a non-profit booster organization for the North Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. The PALS Board raises funds and provides financial support for the men and women of the LAPD. The money PALS raises goes to support the training, equipment and special events integral to the work of the LAPD, while providing a bridge between police and community in the Eastern San Fernando Valley.
