Honesty Pays Off for 5th-Grader
School honors student Griffin Hartshorn for turning in cash he found on the floor.
Fifth-grader Griffin Hartshorn found a $10 bill lying on the floor at his school, .
Now, most 12-year-olds would thank their lucky stars and pocket the cash, but Griffin had this nagging idea that someone may need it, and be lost without it. He brought it to the front office.
"He did the honest thing, and it was the right thing to do," said outgoing Principal Harold Klein. "And since no one has claimed it, it will go to Griff."

As Klein's last official duty, he gave Griff the money, and for his honesty, he's a Studio City Patch
