Gunman Robs Customer At Ventura Boulevard Bank of America
A man armed with a rifle robbed a customer outside a Bank Of America in Sherman Oaks.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — Los Angeles Police are looking for a gunman who robbed a person in a bank parking lot on Ventura Boulevard Tuesday afternoon. The robbery occurred in the back parking lot of the Bank of America at the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Cedros Avenue in Sherman Oaks shortly after 3 p.m., according to police.
The suspect made off with cash, a checkbook and a bag.
“The weapon was an unkown type of rifle,” Los Angeles Police Officer Drake Madison said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s weighing about 160 pounds and 5’10” tall. He was dressed in black pants, shirt and shoes, and was last seen driving a black BMW with paper license plates.
Anyone with information about the robbery should call the LAPD at 818-374-9500, and anyone who encounters the suspect should call 911.
