Halloween Horror Nights Hits Universal Studios by Storm til 10/31

Maybe it's because this was my first outing since the pandemic began, that I was blown away by the sheer sensation, the astonishing awe, the exhilarating energy of Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights. Each year they seem to raise the bar, astoundingly appearing a cut above the rest. They've soared to unimaginable levels, once again taking us out of this world to a realm of peaceful perfection, heavenly happiness, and divine delight. You are guaranteed to leave the phenomenal marvel with restored zeal, zest and enthusiasm, watching your attitude, outlook, and demeanor transmogrify in the blink of an eye.

You'll find a camaraderie, a shared celebration, communing with other like minded souls conjuring up their happy place. Universal and their master creators, producers, artists, and expert engineers present A+, ace quality, dazzling, bedazzling entertainment for the whole family to revel and rejoice in. No matter your state of mind, body, and spirit when you enter the zone of Halloween Horror Nights, you will sigh a breath of relief and intuitively recognize and realize that healing and hope is at your fingertips. You’ll start snapping and yearning for an encore, while movin' n groovin' the entire evening away. As the Ira Gershwin lyrics from the tune "I Got Rhythm" expound "Who could ask for anything more?"

The actors in true form and character are ever so gracious and humble to help facilitate a fantastic foto shoot, posing with you to obtain ideal, model, top notch treasures. Now that is worth thrice the price of admission in itself!!

Highlights include seven intense mazes****; the return of the iconic Terror Tram: The Ultimate Purge” which takes visitors on a nightmarish journey into the world of The Purge as they try to survive the night along the world-famous Universal backlot; nightmarish scare zones; and Jabbawockeez, the award-winning hip hop dance crew, back with nightly performances of its high-energy show featuring their gravity-defying dance moves, elevated by special effects and pulse-pounding music.

****“The Haunting of Hill House,” based on Netflix’s critically-acclaimed supernatural thriller; “Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives,” inspired by Universal Pictures’ cinematic monsters with an all-original story about one of the studio’s most infamous creatures. "The Exorcist" maze had me at hello. I was beaming and gleaming from head to toe, smiling nonstop from start to finish, feeling immersed in an era gone by. It was glorious nostalgia to reminisce about the hit horror movie of my generation. Universal Studios has incredible skill, savvy, and a keen knack for reimagining its intellectual properties, finding innovative ways to reinvigorate them. They've accomplished just that with par excellence, bringing "The Exorcist" back to life for new aficionados to admire, adore, and appreciate.

Just in case any of you still have Covid fear, check out The Terror Tram which traverses the Universal Studios backlot and is completely outdoors! In addition, everyone is required to wear masks inside the mazes and they only let in a limited amount of folks at a time. Bottom line, Halloween Horror Nights is the best pandemic protected extravaganza I've attended thus far. You can rest assured you're safe from catching anything other than some good old fashioned fab fun fright!
