Harvard-Westlake Baseball Partners with Vs. Cancer Foundation
In two years, the team has raised more than $16,000 to help local children living with cancer and to help fund cancer research.

For the third year in a row, the Harvard-Westlake baseball team has partnered with the Vs. Cancer Foundation to raise money to help local children living with cancer and to help fund cancer research.
During the 2013 season, Austin Schoff ‘13 encouraged his team to raise funds for the Vs. Cancer Foundation to honor their teammate, Christopher “Beebop” Robinson ‘14, who passed away in November 2011. Over the past two years, the team has raised more that $16,000 for the foundation.
Half of the money raised will benefit national childhood cancer research, and the other half will go to a local children’s hospital. According to the team’s website, the goal is to “invest in our kids of tomorrow, while also helping kids just be kids, even while battling cancer.”
