Harvard-Westlake's School Newspaper Takes Home Awards

The Chronicle staff won three awards at the National Scholastic Press Association convention in Minneapolis. 

Big Red won eighth Best of Show in the Special Edition Category, the Chronicle website (chronicle.hw.com) was awarded second Best of Show and the 36-page monthly newspaper won first Best of Show at the conference. 

The Spectrum, a middle school publication, won second Best of Show in the junior high school category, and Mazelle Etessami '14 won third place for middle school picture of the year.
