Harvard-Westlake Standout Josh Hearlihy Is Utah-Bound

The basketball player received many offers from schools before committing to the University of Utah.

senior has committed to the University of Utah, where he will be suiting up next year for head basketball coach Larry Krystkowiak as an Ute, Scout.com reported.

Hearlihy will play the combo guard/forward position because of his 6-foot-7 stature and his guard-like ball handling ability.

Hearlihy averaged 16.8 and 6.4 rebounds last season and received all Mission League first team honors as the starting small forward/ shooting guard. He also won all-CIF division 3A honors as well.

In addition to Utah, he received offers from Wyoming, Santa Clara and San Diego.

As a new member to the Pac-12, Utah’s commitment from Hearlihy is its second so far this year, along with Utah native Jordan Loveridge.
