Harvard-Westlake's Girls Volleyball Win Streak Halted by Notre Dame

The 47-match league winning streak comes to a close.

The girls’ volleyball team saw their 47-match league win streak come to an end as they fell to the Notre Dame Knights on Tuesday.

The game was a close contest, but last minute errors and hitting runs by the Knights became the story of a long night for the Wolverines.

After leading 24-20 in the fourth game, the team gave up four straight points and en route to losing to Notre Dame for the first time 13 contests.

"Each year is a new year,” Head Coach Adam Black said. “Our goal is to exponentially keep getting better from the start till the end."

The Wolverines will have a chance to regroup before heading into Dave Moh’s Tournament this weekend.
