HW Digital Storytelling Adventure in Cuba Helps Connect a Family

A photojournalist and some HW students helped connect a woman living in Miami with her cousin in Cuba.

In January, a group of 22 current and former Harvard-Westlake students enrolled in the Digital Storytelling Adventure flew to Havana, Cuba, accompanied by Upper School Visual Arts Department Head Cheri Gaulke and documentary filmmaker Jeff McIntyre. When they were delayed in Miami, Jeff and some of the HW students helped connect a woman living in Miami with her cousin in Cuba.
