Castro, JFS’ President and CEO. “Ms. Gelson’s kindness and generosity, along with her deep, first-hand understanding of the importance of programs like Chaverim, led us to choose her as this year’s Chaverim Shining Star honoree.”

Adults with developmental disabilities also enjoy the JFS Chaverim social-recreational club that keeps them connected to the Jewish community.
