Sixth-grade athletes at Laurence School in Valley Glen had an all-around championship afternoon Wednesday, Feb. 27. The girls undefeated soccer team took home the first place trophy in the San Fernando Valley Private School League (SVPSL).  The Laurence Lighting beat the Campbell Hall Vikings, 6 to 2 in the finals. While the girls were kicking their way to victory on the soccer field, yards away inside Laurence's gym, the undefeated boys basketball team edged out the John Thomas Dye Greyhounds, 21 to 17 for first place.
