Los Angeles Marine Killed In Military Plane Crash
A Marine Corps Sgt. from LA was among the 15 U.S. Marines and one U.S. Navy corpsman killed when a military refueling plane crashed.
LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Two men from the Southland were among the 15 U.S. Marines and one U.S. Navy corpsman killed when a military refueling plane crashed in Mississippi on Monday.
"It is with great regret that the Marine Corps announces the names of those who perished in the KC-130T Hercules crash in Mississippi July 10," the U.S Marine Corps said in a statement Friday morning.
Among the dead were Marine Corps Sgt. Chad E. Jenson of Los Angeles and Marine Corps Capt. Sean E. Elliott of Orange, the Marine Corps reported.
