Nicholas Craven in Marist Play, Conor Miles at Colgate

Two college whiz kids!

Two former Studio City high school students have made good on their way to college, according to their families and the school officials.

Nicholas Craven of Studio City participated in 12 Angry Jurors, which played at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, for four performances this fall. Craven, a Marist College sophomore, was the assistant stage manager in the play, which is based on a 1954 teleplay, 12 Angry Men. 

The play highlights the importance of the American judicial system within society. The production was part of the Marist College Council on Theatre Arts (MCCTA) experimental theater series. Marist is an independent liberal arts college with an undergraduate enrollment of 4,500.

Also, Conor Miles Eliot of Studio City, son of Bruce M. Eliot and Denise O. Eliot, was among the 765 students who entered Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, this fall as a member of the Class of 2015. The college has an undergraduate enrollment of 2,900. Eliot is a graduate of the Harvard-Westlake School.
