Nicolas Cage's Son Faces DUI, Hit-And-Run Charges In SFV Crash

Actor Nicolas Cage's son is set to be arraigned for a series of allegedly drunken crashes in the San Fernando Valley.

SAN FERNANDO, CA — Nicolas Cage's son will face drunken driving and hit-and-run charges next week stemming from a pair of February crashes in the San Fernando Valley.

Weston Cage, 26, faces a single count of driving under the influence and two counts of hit-and-run. He was allegedly involved in a minor crash with another driver on Feb. 4. According to TMZ, which broke the story, Cage stayed at the scene to exchange insurance information but fled before police arrived. He only got about a mile before losing control of his car, and plowing into mailboxes, a street sign and a tree, according to TMZ.

The actor-singer's blood-alcohol level was allegedly .15, nearly double the legal limit, according to the website, which cited a law enforcement source.
