The site of the former North Hollywood Medical Center Hospital on 12629 W.Riverside Dr. caught fire briefly Tuesday afternoon. () 

The structure fire happened while workers were doing demolition work to take it down. Los Angeles City Fire Dept had it out within a 15 minutes. No injuries were reported.

Riverside Drive was shut down between Whitsett Avenew and Coldwater Canyon Boulevard.
