Beverly Long, 81, of Studio City passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends after a short hospital stay.
She was an actress for stage, TV and film productions, including "Rebel Without a Cause."
She later became a Clio Award winning casting director, retiring in in 2004.
She is survived by two of her three children and three grandchildren. Her celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 17, 3 p.m. at Forrest Lawn in Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles. Aloha attire.
Flowers or donations to the Chime Institute (c/o Holly Long, P.O. Box 746, San Anselmo, CA 94979) will be accepted in honor of Beverly.
