The video is the first in a planned series highlighting various cultural landmarks and locations around Los Angeles as part of the Olympic bid committee's effort to show off the city.

"One of those reasons is L.A.'s history as the global hub of movies and entertainment. Storytelling is what we do in L.A., it's who we are, and it's one of the reasons our city is uniquely positioned to deliver a Games that sparks the imagination of young people around the world."
Los Angeles is competing with Paris to host the 2024 Summer Olympics. The winning city will be selected by the International Olympic Committee in September, although Los Angeles could also end up being awarded the 2028 Games.
