Pajama-rama Launches School Book Fair
Carpenter has its Movie Night, Valley View has its Pajama-rama.
At , they had food trucks and watched E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial on a big screen outdoors. Across the other edge of Studio City's borders, they watched people read books while everyone wore pajamas.
At both schools Friday night, they brought sleeping bags and night clothes, and gathered as a school community.
At Carpenter, they had desserts from blankets, flashlights and sweatshirts at the Spirit Store. Principal Joe Martinez injected himself into an I Love Lucy poster (see the gallery), and that was part of the pre-show.

At Valley View, the whole group voted for their which has more than 900 votes, but still needs much more. Parent Bruce McCullough of Kids in the Hall hosted the Valley View show in his striped pajamas.
