Police ID Valley's Suspected Funeral Burglar

Police in the San Fernando Valley are looking for a man believed to have burglarized the homes of people attending funerals.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police Thursday identified a suspect in a series of Southland home burglaries, many of which targeted people who were away attending funerals.

Brett Patrick Rogers, 44, who has family in Riverside and Lake Elsinore, is suspected to be the burglar pictured in a doorbell camera security video at a Sherman Oaks residence that was burglarized on March 12, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The same suspect is believed to have burglarized homes on March 7 and 11 while the residents were at funerals, the LAPD reported.
