VAN NUYS, CA — Los Angeles Police officers shot a knife-wielding suspect in the San Fernando Valley early Monday morning.It all began with reports of a screaming woman in the 13600 block of Vanowen Street in Van Nuys. Patrol officers responded to the radio call at 4:30 a.m. and were confronted with a man brandishing a knife to LAPD Officer Drake Madison said. The suspect allegedly refused to drop the weapon, and that's when officers fired on him.
