Polo Fields & 200 Stables at Fulton & Ventura Boulevard, Sherman Oaks

Before Dixie Canyon Elementary School and St. Francis de Sales there was swimming, dining, beer, and stables

My latest historic discovery involves a 15 acre site turned rowdy by 1939, but originally top-tier polo fields in Sherman Oaks, fronting Ventura Boulevard and Fulton and then moved back behind the present day alley dividing the commercial frontage on Ventura Boulevard from Dixie Canyon Elementary School and some of the residential buildings with alley access.
