MathCounts Thursdays, 3:00-4:00 pm, Rm 114This program is sponsored by ‘Friends of the IHP’ and all Reed students are welcome to attend. Students just need a desire to do advanced math and to learn new ways to solve problems. This year MathCounts will be asking for a $25.00 donation to go toward the purchase of Walter Reed MathCounts Club T-shirts.

Spelling Bee Friday, 3:00-4:00 pm, Library

Join our after school Spelling Bee Club every Friday. It is fun and challenging and a great support for all our students at Reed. We’re also working toward participating in the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee to be held February 25, 2012.

Join us for great learning, friendship and FUN!

Support Reed Annual Giving 2011-2012Severe budget cuts to education require families to directly support our school. Annual giving allows us to plan for campus technology, capital projects, staffing, enrichment, and programs for academy and community needs that cost an average of $500 per student a year.Donating is easy: 1. Return donations to the Period 1 class, Main Office or Rm 106.

2. Log on to our websites to donate by Credit Card Onetime or Monthly: www.FriendsOfReed.com

3. Encourage friends, employers & businesses to donate to Reed.

Our THANKS go to all our community in this start to the Holiday Season.
