"Sound of Music" singalong at the Hollywood Bowl 6-26-15

This Friday, June 26th, nearly 18,000 attendees of the annual “Sound of Music” sing-a-long concert will be also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of the movie. Anyone who has attended this event, normally in September, knows the evening does not start once the sun has said a long goooood-bye. The ever impressive presentation of non-professional, local participants, with hand-made costumes related to the story and refrains of familiar music, begins at 6:30pm. This pre-dusk, on-stage, narrated, parade brings out the most creative, cutest, and outstanding costumes; all to the delight of a multi-cultural and multi-generational audience. Without fail, there is always a costume or group costume with such ingenuity it causes a gasp of awe-pproval and a roar of awe-pplause from the sold-out crowd.
