Spring Fling Helps Raise Money for Elementary School

The had a duck pond game, a ring toss, many games, lots of singing and a Silent Auction. 

Valley View Elementary School in the Cahuenga Pass had their Spring Fling on Saturday which helps raise money for the PTA to pay for field trips and other additional educational programs that the district can't afford to pay for anymore.

Principal Susan Kim, teachers and parents joined in to participate in the school's fundraiser. Auction items inside the auditorium included elaborate baskets of items and Hollywood-type items like tickets to American Idol. Other items, like a signed Elvis Costello CD, signed Hot in Cleveland script (taped in Studio City) and a Salvador Dali lithograph can be found on their online auction (at BiddingForGood.Com), which continues for a week.
