You'll learn how are brains are hard-wired to tell and respond to stories, discover the elements that all strong stories share, and explore concrete ways that you can apply the power of story in your work and life. After the lecture, stay and enjoy refreshments and our Toastmaster meeting where you'll hear three speeches, impromptu speaking, and evaluations. The lecture and meeting are provided by the Studio City Speakers, Studio City's only Toastmaster's club that meets at Oil Can Harry's, 11502 Ventura Blvd in Studio City. There is limited free parking. Once a quarter we bring in exceptional speakers for the enjoyment of the club and community.

Tujunga Avenue will shut down between Moorpark St. and Woodbridge St. in Studio City this Saturday, May 23 from 1 - 8pm as the community comes together to celebrate the inaugural Tujunga Village Spring Music Festival.&nbsp; 
Live music bands will perform all day 
Enjoy a glass of wine at Vitello's&nbsp;wine garden. 
Stroll down a car-free street except for the 20 classic Porsches that will be lined up diagonally along the street.&nbsp; 
Pet some adorable dogs at the dog adoption booths.&nbsp; 
Over 30 Local vendor booths will fill the streets with fun activities. &nbsp;Highlights include:
= Free face painting @ the VIP Nannies booth
= Instrument petting zoo at the Burbank School of Rock booth
= Video games Arcade @ the Code Ninja booth
= Free kids' ID badges @ New York Life booth
= Free clothes pin decorating @ the Wesley School booth= Upcycled paper mache mushroom hat making activity @ Amysmithart
= Line dancing @ the Six Compound Dance Studio booth
Take a free photo to commemorate the day at the Perrow Production photo booth.&nbsp; If you see their drone above, they are covering the event so wave your hands.
25+ participating shops and restaurants will stay open late until 8pm so show them some love. &nbsp;For the 1st 10 customers who spend $100 or more in a&nbsp;participating shop, you get a free event tote (no limits so you can collect totes in as many shops as desired when you spend $100 with each shop).
