Studio City Creative Writing Contest Winners Celebrated
The Studio City Neighborhood Council's Studio City Summer Creative Writing Contest drew 46 entries from local authors of all ages.

STUDIO CITY, CA — The Studio City Neighborhood Council recently celebrated the accomplishments of local authors whose talents earned them awards in the Studio City Summer Creative Writing Contest.
Forty-six writers entered their works in three age categories, and the top three winners in each category received gift certificates of $100, $50 and $25.
"With forty six entries across three age categories, the judges had their work cut out for them," the Studio City Neighborhood Council Board Members wrote in announcing the winners. "There were number of excellent pieces of writing and difficult choices to be made."

2nd Place- Miles Goldsmith (P.E.)

3rd Place- Violet Goldsmith (All About Hamilton)
Teens
1st Place- Keira Nordan (Slips of Songs in Forgotten Minds)
2nd Place- Peta Jolly (Another Unseen World)
3rd Place- Daniel Joo (Ode on a Roman Statue)
Adult
1st Place- Alicia Coppola (Untitled)

2nd Place- Joyce Lam (ABC)
3rd Place- Molly Stout (Recurring Characters on My Way to Work)
Honorable Mention- Drew Filus (Gross)
