Studio City "as it was" told by a Gaynor Peet - born in 1935

Gaynor Peet in his own words tells what it was like to live in Studio City before the 1938 flood which changed Studio City forever.

Gaynor was so excited about having his recollections become part of Studio City's history, he wrote a narrative for me. While I included his story in my book, Studio City- A Mile of Style, What's History What's Gossip[my book], as time has passed I thought I should share his story in his words.

His typewritten narrative is cut into 3 photos to accommodate formatting. (attached)

Remember to share your memories and pictures with me. I share them here on the Patch and (maybe) a 3rd edition of my book which is a work-in-progress.

Gaynor was a great friend, and loved Studio City.
