Superintendent Drops in to Visit Walter Reed

Outgoing School Superintendent Ray Cortines made a surprise visit to Walter Reed Middle School to visit the music department, but also took a tour of the rest of the classrooms.

Cortines was there to show his concerns for the and the who received their Reduction in Force notices.

K-CAL 9, the local CBS affiliate joined in the about the 12 teachers that could possibly be booted out of the school next year.

The music students performed for Cortines after he toured the school and stopped in to watch some of the classes.
