SWAT Team Descends On Denny's Restroom
A Los Angeles Police Department SWAT Team is at Denny's in Van Nuys where a man has barricaded himself in the bathroom.

VAN NUYS, CA — A Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team has surrounded a man who went into a Van NuysDenny's bathroom more than six hours armed with a knife.
Just after 4 a.m. Wednesday morning, officers were called to the Denny's in the he 16400 block of Sherman Way to respond to reports of a man with a knife. When officers approached the man, he ran into the restaurant and barricaded himself in the bathroom, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
No injuries were reported, and no hostages were being held, police said.

The man finally surrendered to police at 10: 25 a.m.
