Getting a bit of a late start in figure skating Taylor has been able to reach Juvenile level with the hopes of making the 2018 Olympic team. She will not be old enough to compete in the 2014 ( must be at least 16 years old).
In the past three years she has done what many skaters have not accomplished in such a short time. She has mastered her axel, double salchow, double flip and double loop jumps. Even though she is still young she already has a great work ethic and trains six days a week taking Sundays off.

Three mornings a week she is up at 4:30 am to train before school starts while most 7th graders are still warm and cozy in their beds.
She also is a straight A honors student at Millikan Performing Arts Middle School and is part of the Musical Theater Department.
Her love of the stage along with her love of dancing and performing has helped her so much out on the ice during competitions. The two work so well together. This Spring she will perform in the June musical production of Tommy with a vigorous rehearsal schedule while still practicing six days a week on the ice.
Her future goal is to place in the top 3 in Regionals in Sept. then onto the Nationals in early 2012.
Her parents say she has made it so far with "hard work, a great work ethic, having fun and never saying 'I can't.' She also laughs a lot (at yourself most importantly), and shows support for her fellow skaters, and sets a goal each week to accomplishment and tackle."
She also obviously has very supportive parents.
