Today here at Buttercups Deer Haven in Corvallis Oregon, it is wet and rainy but between 5:45 AM and 10:00 AM this morning (10-8-13) I had the biggest breakfast crowd that I have had in almost 5 years.
There were 41 deer for breakfast, bucks like "CUP" doe and fawn. Yearlings and old as well as babies. I went through 28 pounds of Sweet Cob (the deer feed for winter to help generate warmth. That is over half a bag and exceeds 75% of a two day allocation.
