Please join us THIS Saturday night, May 24th, at CBS Studios Radford for a Comedy Night Veterans Fundraiser, "PTSD Is No Laughing Matter" for Operation I.V., headlined by comedian Tom Papa. Operation I.V. helps Iraq and Afghanistan vets suffering from PTSD. The founder, Dr. Roxann Abrams, lost her son to PTSD suicide after three tours of duty for our country. Our country is currently losing 22 soldiers a day to PTSD suicide. One of the most compelling components of the comprehensive treatment program are the amazing rescue dogs that this organization has figured out how to turn into service dogs for our military vets. These service dogs can save the lives of those soldiers suffering from PTSD. They are also dogs that would otherwise be put down. Now, both the vets and the dogs are given a second chance. It is truly remarkable and no other organization is doing anything like this.
Tickets are only $80, which will include an evening of comedy and laughter, fabulous food, a casino and an auction. It is the hottest ticket in town. And, the most important one.
