Tina Turner's Son Dead In Apparent Studio City Suicide

The firstborn son of R & B legend Tina Turner was found dead Tuesday in his Studio City home.

STUDIO CITY, CA — Tina Turner's firstborn son Craig Raymond Turner was found dead Tuesday of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Studio City home.

The 59-year-old realtor was pronounced dead at about 12:35 p.m. in the 4300 block of Troost Avenue, according coroner's Deputy Chief Ed Winter. He said an autopsy was pending. The R & B icon is currently traveling in Europe.

She was 18 when she had her son with biological father saxophonist Raymond Hill, who performed in the late Ike Turner's band Kings of Rhythm. Ike Turner adopted him when he married the Hall of Fame musician.

According to TMZ, Craig Turner worked in real estate in the San Fernando Valley.

Tina Turner now lives in Switzerland and is currently traveling to Paris for Fashion Week events, TMZ reported.
