Tis the Season is a full service operation. Each proposal is geared to your individual specifications and covers motif, installation, removal, storage organization, and service calls. If even one bulb goes out, they will promptly arrive and resolve the problem.
In addition, timers are included so you don't have to worry about flipping the switch. After the celebratory event, Bloomer and his staff continue to remain involved. Their crews remove everything and help you properly store the equipment so it can be used again in the future. They sketch each house on tear down, labeling every strand as to where they go, guaranteeing an organized and detailed placement for the following year.
Tis the Season handles over 200 clients during the December period alone with a majority in the Studio City and surrounding areas. Todd is proud to have lived in the vicinity for the past 13 years. He’s fond of the eclectic ventures and great mixture of cultures. He expressed how his team really enjoys lighting up people's holidays and using the requisite occasion to deliver a quality product.
Bloomer revealed, “I feel that I have constructed this business over the past 8 years so efficiently that I’ve learned where to cut costs, in turn, providing very affordable benefits, especially relevant during this difficult economic climate.” Accordingly, Patch readers will get $100 off their invoice or if they’ve already paid, a $100 rebate.
Some of the available styles are: C7,C9 (Made for indoor or outdoor use, these warm lights illuminate your trees, roof lines, pathways or whereever you want to hang them), Mini Lights (Clear, Red, Green, Blue or multi-colored), LED's (energy-efficient bulbs lasting longer than traditional incandescent ones), Icicle Lights (Create your own special winter wonderland with these twinkling icicle lights), net lights, rope lights, yard decorations, ornaments, candles, wreaths and garlands.
Todd was motivated to start Tis the Season because “I’ve always loved Christmas and driving around seeing the lights.” He couldn’t help but chuckle to himself observing the montages people presented. He wanted to help them and thought this type of endeavor would be the most effective way.
Bloomer told Patch, “I strongly stand behind my service. If a client has one single bulb go out, we will drive over to replace it and fix any other unforeseen problems within a 24 hour period.”
A specifically impressive element of Todd’s contribution and something no other establishment can offer is his amazing background as a stunt performer. Todd expressed the significance in his own words, “A lot of what we do could be considered somewhat dangerous as far as working with ladders, on roof tops, and at high altitude on occasion.”
“There is a level of risk that must be assessed and managed to do this type of labor safely. I make sure that I coordinate my jobs very well with a closely picked group of guys and girls...some of whom are my stunt friends. I also used to be a firefighter, so I’m proficient at operating with ladders around houses.”
Todd conveyed that he is looking forward to lighting up Studio City and the rest of the Valley, which will surely illuminate the season for us all. His favorite part is when entire families are involved, including young children who like to choose colors.
He appreciates meeting all sorts of patrons who are “generally in the clouds at this great time of year. It feels amazing to light the community and be in the center of the holidays.”
