Valley Teenager Shot To Death

Police are asking for help finding the person who shot a young woman and left her in a North Hollywood neighborhood to die.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A young woman found in shot in North Hollywood over the weekend has died, police said Thursday. Now police are asking for help finding the person who shot her and left her bleeding in a car.

Police identified the victim as an 18-year-old from San Fernando. Officers were sent to Archwood Street and Fulton Avenue at around 9 p.m. Saturday. They arrived to find the victim sitting in a vehicle, wounded from a gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Investigators deduced she was shot several blocks away and driven to the location where officers found her, the LAPD reported.

The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died Wednesday about 7 p.m., the LAPD reported. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her family.
