Valley View Parents Appreciation Day

This week's is all about volunteering.

Principal Susan Kim and the teachers and staff of cooked up a great breakfast to present to about 40 very active parents.

"I have parents who want to come to the school every day because they want to get their children into the school next year, and they always say it's because of the reputation of the parents here at the school and how involved and active they are," Kim said. "It's not like any other school I've ever seen."

School is ending in two weeks, and there's still a Family Field Day, Kindergarten graduation, a Spring Festival and other activities at the school.
