Vandal Scrawls 'Rapist' on Cosby Walk of Fame Star

Bill Cosby's star continues to fall amid allegations that he sexually assaulted 20 women.

A vandal overnight scrawled “rapist” on embattled comedian Bill Cosby’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce confirmed today.

Photos of the defaced star circulating on social media showed the word written three times in black marker ink on the sidewalk marker.

“The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an institution celebrating the positive contributions of the inductees,” the Chamber of Commerce said in a statement. “When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California state landmark.”

The markings were to be removed from the Cosby star today, according to the chamber.

Accusations have been recently made by at least 20 women who claim the famed entertainer sexually abused them as far back as the early 1970s. Several of them allege they were drugged or plied with alcohol.
