Spelling Bee Friday, 3:00-4:00 pm, Library
Join our after school Spelling Bee Club every Friday. It is fun and challenging and a great support for all our students at Reed. We’re also working toward participating in the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee to be held February 25, 2012.
Join us for great learning, friendship and FUN!
Attention 8th Grade Parents! Reed Rock Stars and Grad Night is in need of 8th Grade Parents to lead these events. Both events have step by step instruction manuals.Reed Rock Stars will reward all 8th graders who successfully achieve report card benchmarks with two fun-filled parties during the course of the year. Grad Night is the 8th Grade trip to Magic Mountain which precedes Culmination. Both have become a tradition of being an 8th grader at Reed. Without parental leadership, our 8th graders may not get to participate in these events.
Please step in to help make their last few week months at Reed very special.
Email Patty Puskar: liltay@aol.com if you are willing to be the lead for one of these events.
Support Reed Annual Giving 2011-2012 Severe budget cuts to education require families to directly support our school. Annual giving allows us to plan for campus technology, capital projects, staffing, enrichment and programs for academy and community needs that cost an average of $500 per student a year.Donating is easy:
1. Return donations to the Period 1 class, Main Office or Rm 106.
2. Log on to our websites to donate by Credit Card Onetime or Monthly:www.FriendsOfReed.com
3. Encourage friends, employers & businesses to donate to Reed
