What a great turnout we had at Sunday's Parkways workshop! Thank you to everyone who got their hands dirty and put in some elbow grease! We ran into an unforeseen obstacle - a buried tree stump - and didn't get to place our stone or plant our native plants. But our team has been working hard this week to finish up the parkway for everyone to check out at our next workshop this weekend! SELECTING PLANTS & WATERING RIGHT
We've already killed the lawn and graded the soil for our raingarden this weekend and now it's time to plant! Come learn about water-wise planting that not only saves you water but connects us to the bigger picture by creating habitat - learn how water-wise planting doesn't mean turning your front yard into a cactus oasis! We'll also be teaching you about the best irrigation practices to create a low-maintenance water-wise garden.
