With a generous grant from the California Coastal Conservancy, The River Project and its partners have launched WATER LA, a residence-based rainwater harvesting and urban acupuncture project.
Through Water LA we offer residents hands-on learning, assistance, & materials to design and complete watershed-friendly home improvements.
Our initial project area is in Panorama City where we've already installed graywater systems, turned parkways into raingardens, cut ribbons into driveways for infiltration!
We are now bringing this program and its perks to Studio City!
To kick off we are running an educational film series at CBS Studios at 4024 Radford Ave every Sunday at 630pm followed by a Q&A with the experts involved with the issues.
This Sunday we'll be screening Blue Gold!
Blue Gold examines environmental and political implications of the planet's dwindling water supply, and posits that wars in the future will be fought over water. The film highlights success stories of water activists around the world and makes a strong case for community action.

Space is limited, no entry without confirmation at the gate of your RSVP.
And keep an eye out for our follow-up workshops in the fall!
